 Welcome to Poets of Winterville! We are a group of senior adults who write, read and listen to poetry. The group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm at the Winterville Center for Community and Culture. Our first meeting for 2021 is scheduled for September 1. We are currently monitoring the virus  resurgence. Please check this site before you attend our in person meeting on September 1.  The Center is located at 371 N Church Street, Winterville, Georgia. Guests are welcome.

At our meetings, each poet is invited to read two of their original works. They can choose instead to read from one of their favorite poets. They may, of course, prefer to just listen to others read. 

At most meetings we invite an outside guest poet to read their poems or to share tips on how to be a better poet. On occasion, one of our members will present the program.
